About Vida

Vida Semsarzadeh is a registered dietitian nutritionist who is passionate about helping others improve their relationship with food and their bodies.
Vida focused on Global Health during her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan. Following her undergraduate degree, she earned her masters degree in Human Nutrition from Drexel University. From there, she gained experience in a clinical hospital setting while focusing on nutrition support and feeding tubes at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Discovering that working in a more outpatient setting in which she is able to connect and counsel patients is her preference, she went on to gain experience working as a dietitian in a residential eating disorder treatment center for multiple years. There she led countless groups and individual sessions with patients as well as gained experience working with a multidisciplinary treatment team . After becoming familiar with higher levels of care for eating disorder treatment, Vida decided to focus fully on outpatient treatment. She combines her extensive knowledge base and compassionate nature to create a trusting, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for her clients.
As someone who specializes in the treatment of disordered eating, Vida is able to help clients physically become more in tune with the needs of their bodies as well as mentally free themselves from food rules and rigid thinking patterns. She is a strong proponent of intuitive eating and will always take a non-diet approach to health and wellness. Through a holistic perspective, she is able to support clients in reaching their individual goals while also empowering them to lead more authentic and mindful lives every step of the way.

Vida currently sees patients through Be Healthy Nutrition Consulting LLC and has now also created Healthy Roots to see additional patients through her own practice.
